WAT-AHH Review and Giveaway~CLOSED~

WAT_AAH!_logo (2)

When it’s hot outside, I grab a bottle of cold water. Most of the time, the sit in the freezer since the bottom part of the fridge is too full. My family and I drink TONS of water. Every now and then we’ll grab some tea, but that’s rarely. Plus, there’s nothing like a bottle of cold water to lower your body temperature. I can go through about 5 bottles a day. It all depends on how thirsty I am.Plus, when you are doing errands, or your kids are outside playing, they need some water to stay hydrated (dehydration really stinks!). If you’re like me, you don’t really like the tap water, but if it’s the only thing to drink at the time, you don’t mind.

Wat-AhhSay “hello” (to my little friend), WAT-AHH! They are making drinking water healthier and much more fun. I was recently given the chance to review their water, and I am so thankful for that! When they arrived, they had been sitting in the sun for a bit, so of course, it was way too hot to drink at the moment. So into the freezer they went! I figured that they would get colder faster. Well, it’s true! It took no time for them to become tasty and drinkable. I’m pretty sure they were drinkable when I first opened the package, but hot water would have made me sick!

So, what exactly is WAT-AHH!? It’s water that isn’t boring! It does not contain any sugar or ingredients you have no idea how to say! They have 4 different “flavors.” They aren’t really flavors, but you’ll get the idea in a minute.

Drink WAT-AHH “flavors”
Brain- Purified water and kid-friendly electrolytes
Bones- Purified water and bone-bu
ilding magnesium
Body- Pure spring water (that’s it!)
Energy- Ultra purified water and energizing oxygen

They are absolutely delicious! After they had finally become unfrozen, I decided to try the “Bones” first. Well, I had gotten so used to my tap water that it tasted weird at first. Then, after the first few sips, I was beginning to fall in love! My sister claimed it had an aftertaste, but I didn’t taste one. Then, through-out the evening, my sister and I tried the others. They were just as good as the first one!

WAT-AHH! can replace that Gatorade! It’s much more healthy and doesn’t include any sugar! Hooray for water! Oh, I’m sorry. It should be “Hooray for WAT-AHH!” There, I feel much better.

Thanks to the people at WAT-AHH!, you now have the ability to win! I will be giving 1 winner (that’s right, one winner) WAT-AAH! Time To Cool Off!

Here’s the thing… I love Texas, but hate the summers. Even after you’ve lived here for 100% of your life, you never truly get used to it. You keep thinking “Oh, next year’s summer won’t be as bad as this one.” Then, when you least expect it, the heat index shoots up to over 100 degrees. You sit there, sweating, wondering if there are ways to stay and keep cool. I’ve decided, a long time ago, that even though I will complain about the heat (I’m sure everyone does!), I’m going to try and keep my body temperature down. As hard as it can be, I’ve come up with my own ways- and I’ve taken the obvious route- to stay cool.

Earlier, our dog decided that he wanted to go outside… so he pushed the front screen door open. He can be smart at times. After 5 minutes of running around and catching him, we decided to hose him down with the water hose. Well, I tested the water to make sure it wasn’t so warm. It didn’t. It actually felt great! So, after he got sprayed down from muzzle to tail, I hosed myself down. It brought back child hood memories of when my sister and I would go into the back yard and just have a water fight. Of course, we only had one hose, so it was not only a water fight to see who could get drenched first, it was a fight for the hose. No bloody noses occured. So, after spraying myself with the cool water, I sat outside on the porch and let the small wind blow across. It felt good for a minute- then the wind stopped. Nature can be so cruel!

You know those garden sprayers you get at basically anywhere? Well, they come in extremely handy! I fill mine up with water and stick it in either the refrigerator or freezer. Of course, if I do in fact stick in the freezer, I don’t wait until it’s completely frozen… that would ruin the whole point of the sprayer. So as soon as I deem that the water is cold enough, I take it out and spray my face, arms, and part of the legs that aren’t hidden by clothing. When a fan blows across the cold water, it cools you down. You know your body is dehydrated that within 30 minutes of spraying yourself with water, it dissipates- which comes up to my next point.

One way I keep cool during these horrid summer months (I’m wishing for an early fall! Come on fall!), I have tons and tons of ice cold water. Again, I stick these in either the fridge or the freezer. I really prefer the latter because who doesn’t want a bottle that has little water and tons of ice? As of lately, I’ve been, when I take the bottle out, putting it on either my neck or my forehead/face. It may not help a lot, but it does help some. So, drink plenty of water to not only keep your body hydrated, but to cool you off.

So what is my advice? Well, stay away from greasy foods (If you can. Pizza sounds good right now.), don’t eat/drink too many surgary items (Remember that thing about staying hydrated?), and drink plenty of water. Of course, you may also have that sweet tea. Us Texans seem to love iced sweet tea during the summer. I try to drink it late at night. There’s nothing like watching old reruns of Roseanne and drinking sweet tea.

Have a fantastic summer!

And a few days go by….

I do realize it has been a few days since my last post. To be honest? There wasn’t really anything special going on. Yesterday my computer decided to take the day off. So, I couldn’t post then either. Then again, the computer is nearly 5 years old. It’s time for a new one. SHOPPING TIME!!!

I’m listening to The Bee Gees’ Night Fever right now on my iPod. I feel like getting into a shiny shirt with bell bottoms and do the Hustle. Who’s with me?? Oh c’mon, I’m not doing it alone. Someone has to teach me the Hustle.

Have you ever noticed that just right after reading a book and go to sleep, that book (or characters) get into your dreams? It’s especially weird when the book is about a killer/robber, and in your dream, you get into a relationship with the killer/robber. Yikes!

You know, speaking of the iPod again. It’s the iPod Nano- you know where you shake to turn the song? The only question I have is how hard does Apple expect us to shake the darn thing? Do they want a psycho-type shake or just enough to rattle the brains of this contraption? It would be helpful if you told me in the manual, Apple. I wouldn’t have to shake it so hard that I feel like my arm is going to break off… Thanks for your generosity!

As I end this post, I leave you with a little piece of wisdom: Drinking tea then water does not mix!
