Drool Worthy

I have compiled my own little list of people that make me drool! Yesterday evening I was watching a Kamelot video. Now, everyone knows how much I love Kamelot. I love Roy Khan even more. I don’t know what it is that makes me love him! Thanks to my sister, she keeps me stocked up with plenty of pictures by either e-mailing them to me, sending them over Twitter, or just showing me. She’s feeding my addiction! Okay, I really wouldn’t call it an addiction.

Meet Roy Khan- lead singer of Kamelot. He was really born in Norway, but when you listen to the live version of “Shadow of Uther,” you can’t really tell! He looks amazing and his voice is just spectacular. That is why he is Number 1 on my Drool Worthy list!

Say “Hello” to Johnny Depp. We know him as Captain Jack Sparrow and Willy Wonka and Edward Scissorhands. He also did voice-over for Victor Van Dort in Tim Burton’s “Corpse Bride.” He is a very talented actor and sexy to boot! This is why Johnny makes Number 2 on my Drool Worthy list- although him and Khan are kind of tied.

Meet my 3rd love- George Straight a.k.a The King of Country! I have dreamt about seeing him in concert- only to realize it was just a dream. Perhaps one of these days my wish will come true and I will get to see him! Until then, he will play on my iPod, in my car, and in my dreams! Again, he is tied with Johnny and Khan, but I needed to put him somewhere. This is why George is Number 3 on my Drool Worthy list!

We all recognize this face. This is Tom Hanks. He’s played in Forest Gump, Castaway, The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, and many many other movies. He is fantastic at what he does, and he puts you right there where he is in the movie. You can actually feel him falling in love with Kathleen Kelly in You’ve Got Mail. This is why Tom is Number 4 on my Drool Worthy list!

Hugh Laurie… Mr House. While he tries to save his patients, his witty comebacks make him.. well, drool worthy! Born in England, you would never realize it when you do see an episode of House! Both of his charm, his acting, and his accent put him Number 4 on my Drool Worthy list!

So to those Drool Worthy on here, keep doing what you are doing- it works!

The hills are alive….

With the sound of music. Now, who here has seen the movie “The Sound of Music”? Most of us, right? Now, think about to near the middle of the movie. I’m guessing it’s the middle. Okay, now that you’re thinking about the huge middle-section of the movie, I have a dream I must tell you. It’s rather hilarious, and in fact, this is the reason why I bring up “The Sound Of Music.” First, let me set the scene of falling asleep and THEN I’ll go into the dream.

The other night, I was trying to sleep from a busy day. I spent the whole day cleaning…. even though I’ve had days before that I didn’t want to. It happened. I also had set a king-sized mattress and box spring on one of my toes. It hurt for a second. So, it’s around 10pm, and I was getting sleepy, so I decided to go to sleep (what else am I going to do? Play charades?)

As the night goes on, I enter REM state of sleep. This is where most dreams happen, I presume. And then I start to dream. For those of who do not know, I love metal music. I love Kamelot. They are a progressive metal band (google it!)  Refer back to my Mozart VS Kamelot post (http://https://confettidreams.wordpress.com/2009/01/22/mozart-versus-kamelot/). Anyways, my sister and I had gone to see them in concert. Well, the first song they played, and they had the puppets go to with it, was the song”The Lonely Goatherd”. Yes, the one with the yodeling. I woke up laughing so hard I thought I was going to throw up! It was the most funniest dream I have ever had. Now, I have a memory of it written down for all to see. Sorry dudes of Kamelot. I can’t see ya’ll yodeling!

Mozart Versus Kamelot

Normally, the classical music  (such as Mozart and Bach) calms down humans and animals. With me, that is the case. My dog, however, really prefers the progressive metal band, Kamelot. Really, he does! While  listening to my iPod and on the computer, he jumps on my arm. To deter him from trying to eat my arm, I put my headphones onto his head. He stood still for at least 1 minute just listening. I thought I was onto something. Next time he came up, I put Mozart on and the headphones on his head. That was a no go. I came up with the conclusion that the dog is a bigger metal head than I am- bypassing the music that came before it.

By the way, I think I have finally mastered using a fax machine! I know it’s nothing extravagant, but I don’t use one that often, and usually, I would acquire my sister’s help. She’s used them more than I have! Now, today, I’ve mastered and conquered it. I wonder what else I can finally master…. *insert evil laugh here*

By the way, powdered donuts make an excellent dessert after lunch!
