You know, there are some days I don’t even want to roll over and get out of bed. Then, there are the days when I become a human vacuum. Of course, I don’t clean the whole house in one day; then nothing would get done. Except maybe a cleaner house. Anyways, as of lately, I’ve been on a cleaning binge. If it’s dirty, it gets swept up or thrown away. Maybe that’s where my winning lottery ticket went. DARN!! And since warmer weather is on the way (bring on the iced sweet tea!), cleaning is inevitable.
A few weeks ago, my sister and I decided to clean the bedroom one day. That, in fact, was a full days work. The floor is now clean enough to eat off of- although I really wouldn’t recommend it. Ick! Anyways, you’ll never guess what we found while cleaning. A lot of dust (sneeze alert!), 17 lighters (darn lighter gnomes stealing my lighters!) and 2 cats toys. I must say, I was very surprised that you could lose 17 lighters in one area in a small room. I guess that’s why they call it Spring Cleaning- you find crap you didn’t even know you lost. Plus, I came to the conclusion that I am a pack rat. Sad, but true. So, that day, I threw away anything I never used or didn’t need. I felt much cleaner and organized. Now I just wish the rest of the house would follow suit…. I think I need to clone myself.

Or it’ll become sticky! Are you confused? I thought so. Let’s start from the beginning. Maybe that’ll help!
If you constantly go to http://www.etsy.com, you know that they sell homemade items. If you don’t know, they also sell food. Wonderful mouth-watering goodies! While browsing Etsy this afternoon, I found 3 shops that made me drool all over myself. They make some yummy-looking candies/cakes/cookies. From the first one I found, I saw that they had fudge. FUDGE! I could actually live off of it if I had the chance. Here’s the picture of the fudge (along with the link)

The second one makes cookies. Since I am a chocoholic, I saw that they had M&M Cookies. Stop the presses. I almost had to control myself!

Now, the last one makes cupcakes/cakes/cookies. ALL of those. Sweet sugar-overload!

I have to keep reminding myself that these are only images and the monitor isn’t a portal to the other side. Must not lick screen. Must not lick screen. Well, at this rate, the computer screen will be clean!

When I say “grilling,” what comes to mind? Yup! Yummy barbecue sauce! You know the kind where you could almost (almost being the keyword!) just drink it straight from the bottle? The kind where you just have to yell “YEEHAW!” every time you get a taste? Heck, I almost did. Yes, it tastes that good!
A weeks ago, I received 2 bottles in the mail yesterday from Country Bob’s for her to review. The first initial taste takes you aback for a second, but then it turns into a taste you can’t forget. I wish we had a lifetime supply!
I have to be honest; there’s nothing I dislike about this sauce at all! It’s all natural seasonings. The blend is really wonderful. It can seriously become addicting. There’s literally 0 fat (per the nutritional label) and it is almost like committing a sin because it tastes so good!
Oh right! I forgot to tell my experience with this superb barbecue sauce. Sorry guys, no pictures this time around. Onto the story…. We had some leftover lemon garlic chicken (store bought) and somehow, we needed to jazz it up. Da da da da! Country Bob’s to the rescue! There was no need to put the chicken on the grill. We heated it up in the microwave, shredded it up a little bit, then poured some (don’t overdo it!) sauce over it! It was phenomenal! It was much better than going to Texas Roadhouse and spending an arm, leg, and a foot to get the same thing. Actually, it’s better than Texas Roadhouse!
So for any barbecue sauce goodness, go to Country Bob’s, buy your own bottles and you will be amazed, excited, in Heaven… in… Okay, I’m done!
Country Bob’s is wonderful!

If you are going to buy an HP desktop computer soon, buy an extra power supply to go with it. They cost $50 and up at Best Buy. Now, why do I tell you this? It has been a week since I’ve had a computer on at home. Today, my sister and I spent 3-4 hours putting in a new power supply. I believe my butt is officially numb. We bought the HP computer on February 5th. It stopped working on the 15th. True, we thought our old computer would work until we could get the new one fixed, but the video card went out on the 5 year old Gateway and our monitor wouldn’t work with it. Now, we knew we were screwed. So, the next day after buying a new monitor cable (to see if that was the problem), we bought the new power supply. Today, we had the chance to put it together. We only took one break during those few hours.
At the end, we closed the case and plugged it up. I was afraid of pressing the “On” button because I had no idea if we had hooked it up right. When I saw the blue light turn on, I let out a sigh of relief- and maybe a shrill of excitement. I think I scared my cat during that excitement. Oh well.
So, what is your surprise now that I have a working computer? I will be holding a giveaway in 2 days. It will be only for the US (sorry guys!), but it will be something that everyone is raving about. Woohoo! Who’s excited about it? I am! It will be my first giveaway and I hope (and pray) that it will run smoothly. On Tuesday (I’m resting on Sunday and Monday), I will put the post up for you to begin. So, have fun!

I do have to make this post short- as I am at the public library on their computer. I have more bad news regarding our computer. Well, it’s mainly the monitor now. We have reasons to believe that our cable for the monitor has shorted out of is messed up in some way. Just perfect… Fantastic! Don’t worry my fellow blog readers (if indeed I have any left!), we will be back up and running soon, I promise!
By the way, my studying, which I haven’t updated in a while is going great. I try to do a little bit each day. Of course, there are times when I get distracted (oooh! A sexy guy!) and forget about it that day. It´s just natural, right? RIGHT??
Anyways, I am off to Best Buy to see if I can somehow correct this rollercoaster that´s gotten off of it´s track! It´s only uphill from here!
Since I have a limited time today, there won´t be a QOTD. However, in the day or so (i´m thinking maybe the next 2 days) you will have your surprise!!

As I have posted before, our new computer died Sunday morning- when I got up at 630. We went to the library that same afternoon to print out instructions how to help get our power back. None of what we did helped. We were so upset that we had just spent $773 on a new computer that has now become our paperweight. So, today we take it to Best Buy for the GeekSquad to help us. They wouldn’t. They just turned us away (and it’s a long drawn-out story). So, now we still have the paperweight. We have come to realize that, and this is by our own experience, that we have to replace the power supply. Great. We use the computer for 2 weeks and we have to replace the thing that makes it actually work. I have to advise you guys on HP computers- which is the new computer. Make sure you check the power supply often, or replace it as soon as you buy the computer. We had the HP computer for only 2 weeks and the power supply has gone out.
For now, until we can get the power supply on the new computer replaced, we will be using the 5 year old dinosaur computer. It’s our trusty friend, and without it, we would be losing our minds. I am liking the dinosaur more and more each day!
Now for a regular update on my life (like it isn’t boring enough, huh?) I am losing sleep like the stock market loses points! Every time I lay down to sleep, I don’t. When I do sleep, it’s only for 2 or 3 hours. I’m starting to think that sleeping is overrated anyways.
By the way, sometime this week or next, come back. I’ll have a surprise for you!

I’m starting to believe that technology is evil. It truly and really is. At the moment, I am at my local library. Why am I online at the library if I have a computer at home? Well… there’s a small problem. The new computer we bought at least 2 weeks ago is not turning on. We’ve done everything we could possibly think of, and nothing. So, we came over here to the library to get some online help. So here I am, once again, praying that a computer works.
This seems like deja vu! Fantastic!
